A few words about this Honda V4 website

v-four began as a site devoted to Honda's V4 motorcycles of the late 1980s and the 1990s - the VFR/RC series spawned by a landmark motorcycle, the 1986 VFR750. It has since grown to reflect the wider world of motorcycling - it now has information about racing at the Isle of Man TT, photographs of classic bikes of all shapes and sizes, and motocross and trials action photographs.

Alongside all this are regularly updated pages with results of the MotoGP and World Superbike championships. The introduction of 990cc four-strokes into Grands Prix has rekindled wide interest in the class, and the RC51 Superbike is allowed some space as it is considered the development of Honda's RC30 and RC45 Superbikes (in the late 90s a 1000cc v-twin was the only sure way to win in World Superbikes).

The death of Joey Dunlop in July 2000 stirred me into adding a page about a modest gentleman who was the greatest road racer ever - a true legend. It is kept up to date with any related news. The site map will give an idea of the variety of subjects covered.
