The Wistanstow Classic Bike Show

Wistanstow is a pretty village in South Shropshire. One Sunday in late March each year there is an invasion of motorcyclists.

The weather is usually good, and the event prompts many to fire up the bike and ride out for the first social event of the season.

The organiser, Ron Maund, always succeeds in presenting a range of beautifully prepared (mainly British) motorcycles, many with fascinating histories. The homemade food is devoured and everyone has a good look round the parking area and autojumble.

Proceeds go to support the village school.
